Top Ranked Marketing For My Chiropractic Practice

It’s frustrating, isn’t it? But, to be fair, it's not all their fault. So today, I'm going to show you exactly what you can do to skyrocket your success with an agency or by your own marketing efforts. Let’s dive in.

Step 1: Create Your Offer

An offer is an opportunity for a patient to experience you and your brand without a lot of risk. You see, the barrier for most patients is that they just don't know you, like you, or trust you yet. That’s why they need an experience to gain that trust.

We need to lower the risk and increase trust so that it paves the way for a thorough examination and diagnostics. This sets the stage for creating a tailored treatment plan that will ultimately restore their quality of life.

You see, one of the most important and viable things to a patient is understanding. When I work with patients through a consultation, I delve into the root causes of their recurring health issues, uncovering where they originate and what's been fueling them when other approaches fell short.

Other providers had failed them and weren't able to help them. But in a consultation, we were able to connect pieces for them that no other physician had. We were able to provide them with a treatment that normally wouldn't be reimbursed by insurance. It's all part of the package, packed with invaluable steps tailored to each patient.

Now every state has very specific laws that you definitely want to make sure you're in compliance with. But the offer is how valuable is it? What would they pay a specialist in another profession to obtain this? And what are you willing to give them to lower that barrier to come in to experience your practice?

An agency doesn't know what you're willing to give. They don't know what you're capable of doing for patients. And when you can come up with that value, and give them something valuable to market, you’ll get much better quality leads that are ready to come into your practice and begin the process of trusting you.

Step 2: Build Value in Your Offer

Step number two in improving your marketing is building value in your offer by showing the outcomes that they're going to experience in the offer. So if a patient is coming in for a screening, a consultation, or a fast pain-relief treatment, you want to focus on the outcome that they're going to get.

You see, I found too many doctors are trying to sell free, and almost free comprehensive care plans. The transition from small steps to a giant leap can be overwhelming for the patient, especially when the trust and understanding aren't fully established.

In this process, we're just trying to identify the value and outcome of the experience. It’s about producing content. In fact, your role as the primary owner of the practice and the driver of marketing is to create content that promotes this offer. Break down its core components, and emphasize the benefits, the real gems that patients will gain from embracing it.

As an example, if my vehicle is making weird noises, I take it to a mechanic because I don’t have enough mechanical knowledge to diagnose it myself. So having a skilled professional assess my vehicle and explain exactly what's causing the issue, along with the solution needed, empowers me to make a decision I'm confident in.

It's all about having that sense of control and certainty. That's what patients are seeking. They want to be in the driver's seat of their health journey, and that's what you're presenting—an opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of their conditions, so they can make informed choices about reclaiming their quality of life.

You need to sell the value of that first step—the offer. What is the value of the offer? What are they going to get on the other side of the offer? And that's what you should be creating content around so that your agency or you can be putting that everywhere in the digital universe.

Step 3: Nurturing Your Patient

This step has everything to do with nurturing that patient from the second that they set an appointment to when they actually show up in the practice. And there are three things that I'm going to give you to help increase your new patients’ show rate.

  1. Make sure they complete their paperwork prior to the appointment.

Hopefully, you have online access to do this, or you can email a document that they can send back. But you want to get that before they actually show up in the practice.

I remember the old days when patients would come in, and I'd give them a clipboard, and they'd fill it out. Gone are those days. We see new patient show rates skyrocket by just completing this step.

Plus, it gives you and your team some time to review that paperwork so you have full knowledge of the patient's history, their struggles, and a deeper understanding of who they are. And trust me, patients pick up on that. It's powerful.

  1. Confirm the patient is bringing their health partner.

Now a lot of coaching systems out there do this like on the report of findings, but we have also found that inviting them to bring a health partner on their first visit dramatically increases their show rate.

They now have another person's schedule they're working with. We don't want their availability to dictate whether they can make it to the visit or not. But by inviting and confirming a health partner, there’s now somebody who can actually be there, fully engaged, soaking in the consultation, the exam, and the diagnostic process. There are amazing things that happen in that supportive process as they go through that together.

  1. Send a text with a video link prior to the visit.

This is a video that we call, “What To Expect On Your First Visit.” This is an amazing video that's an opportunity for you to speak to the patient, and tell them a little bit about your story.

This is a condensed version of why you became the healer, the physician, and the practice owner that you are. Why did you pick this specific condition to specialize in? Why did you become an expert?

What were you frustrated with in our traditional healthcare systems that led you to discover this new way? And how is this new way now creating unbelievable and unprecedented outcomes with your patients?

You can even give them a little bit of an office tour. Show them the room where they're going to be getting the consultation exam. Then you could say something like, “But don't take it from me. This is a patient who was in your shoes just a short few months ago. And I want to share with you their transformation—the step that you're about to take of coming into our practice.”

Then that transitions into a testimonial. It’s a patient with their similar condition who's now telling their story, and how they went to other places, but nobody else could figure out their condition. But then they found an expert, followed your treatment approach, and the results? Mind-blowing. They're back to doing things they never thought possible, and their quality of life is through the roof.

Now, imagine them watching this video before stepping in for their first visit. They've gotten to know you, like you, and trust you in a flash. That whole process is streamlined, and now they're walking through your door, eager for that transformation only YOU can provide. They're hoping you'll take them on as a patient, hoping you'll tackle their case.

This is worlds apart from some random lead stumbling in from Facebook, totally in the dark about who you are. This is marketing transformation. This is what a data-driven doc focuses on so that they can scale their marketing, make their marketing agency successful, or make their own marketing even more successful.
